Who we are, what we make and how it all started.
WinterWorld Production is an independent studio founded by two students who share a love of creativity and of making games, films and worlds of their own.
We don't want to limit ourselves to one medium. We make games, stories, films and apps, experiment with ideas and try to create something unforgettable.
We believe the best stories are born when we don't lock ourselves into a single form. That is why our projects often overlap, together forming one bigger universe.
Storytelling and worldbuilding are the foundation of our work. Every project is different; what matters most to us is that each one has its own character and story.
What we make
We make our own games, combining game design, programming, worldbuilding, mechanics and narrative. Every project starts from its own idea and has its own character.
We also tell stories outside the world of games. We make our own film projects, developing stories, characters and universes through image, sound and atmosphere.
We build apps that make everyday life a little better: clear, without ads and with respect for your privacy. Our first one is HappyCal Health Center.
Stories and worlds are the most important part of our projects. We create our own universes, characters and events that can exist in different forms and connect one production to the next.
We don't want to limit ourselves to one genre, style or medium. We test new ideas, make unusual projects and look for our own way of telling stories.
History
It all started with small, innocent projects and big ambitions. We wanted to create unforgettable stories in the form of games, films, books and other creative projects. We didn't know yet where it would take us. We only knew that we wanted to create something of our own.
After many unfinished projects, failed attempts and hundreds of hours of learning, two students combined their ideas to create something bigger. That is how Watchguard began: a project meant to tell a story about pain, trauma, memory and a man's struggle with his own mind.
While working on new projects, we realised we didn't want to make just one game. We wanted to create something bigger: a studio that builds its own worlds, stories and experiences. That is how WinterWorldProduction was born.
We released HappyCal Health Center, our first app: a health app without ads and without an account, which you can download for Android right here on our website.
